When you discover Kythnos, you will understand why its name is derived from the ancient Greek “keftho”, which means “hide”: it is a true beauty, typically Aegean, which is “hidden” there – and yet at a short distance from port of Athens. Kythnos welcomes you, modest and hospitable, incredibly beautiful and quiet. Early the next morning we will departure from Kythnos Merichas to Syros Foinikas. Arrival to Syros Foinikas and free time. In Syros, you will feel at home, like all those who, looking for the quality of life from another era, chose the capital of Cyclades as their main residence. Come in its daily rhythms to feel this mix of classic and traditional, sweet like delight. Very soon, you will leave in search of your next residence. Early in the morning of the next day we will departure from Syros Foinikas to Kythnos Loutra. Arrival at Kythnos Loutra and free time. This time you will discover the northeastern region of the island which is very famous for its hot springs, frequented by King Othon and Queen Amelie in the nineteenth century. Nowadays, there is a hydrotherapy center in full swing with all the necessary facilities. Groundwater, rich in mineral salts, sulfur and iron, invites hot baths relaxing and have therapeutic properties against many ailments. Enjoy every second you spend there!
